I don't think it's entitlement. She's clearly going through some kind of mental health episode. It's not uncommon for them to vocalize whatever is going through their head at the moment.

Meth unfortunately causes what may appear to be mental illness in normal sane individuals. I know someone who nearly jumped out of her sisters car while driving down the high way because she swore people were following them with guns and thought her boyfriend was sneaking girls in the house at night through a basement window not big enough to fit any person. One night she sat up all night long in the basement watching the window because “she knew the girl was coming” she’s been clean now for over a year and back to a functioning human. Drug induced psychosis is terrifying

In all the years i've worked in law enforcement (corrections) I can't tell you how many inmates needed to be in a psychiatric facility and not prison. I was blown away when I learned the state psychiatric hospital was able to refuse patients on whims.

Reagan went and plowed everything down to the opposite extreme and left the mentally ill to fend for themselves on the streets to turn homeless or get into trouble because they are living a different reality.

Unfortunately the US healthcare and justice systems are horrible. The justice system is not really focused on rehabilitating people to get back out in the society and contributing to the society. The focus is mostly on punishments - and we all know that tougher sentencing does not make a society more safe. The problem should be solved mb the healthcare system, and the US should look at Europe regarding this - another problem is, that americans does not want to pay more taxes for at better healthcare system, so an improvement in this area does not seem likely. They could - as another user suggested - use money from US military budget and probably solve it that way, but that doesnt seem very likely. Like "Bunny" says in the TV-series The Wire; "This....this is not police work"

This has nothing to do with bad parenting or about never being told "NO", but rather with mental health problems. Unlike many insufferable people on other police cam videos who threw a tantrum, swearing at police officers and got what they deserve, I feel bad for this woman. She obviously needs help, and perhaps also help from her loved ones. Mental health issues is no joke. It can also happen to our loved ones.

Being mentally ill doesn't give you the right to stand in the middle of the road screaming while violating a civil protection order. And I suspect that she has gotten mental health treatment at some point in the past, but either refuses further treatment or refuses to take her medication.

She may be going through a common mental condition called anasognosia. That's where a person with a mental illness (commonly schizophrenia or any other psychotic spectrum disorder) is completely unaware that she has a mental illness. You would think that common sense would kick in and they'd realize they're sick, but with anasognosia, there seems to be a block in that sense of self. They usually have paranoid thoughts, like everyone is out to get them or frame them. Given that she has a walking routine that she seems to NEED to do, that makes me suspect OCD or autism spectrum disorder. And she shows all the trademark signs of paranoid schizophrenia. Schizophrenia can be a genetic problem, a chemical imbalance, or even certain illicit substances can bring about schizophrenia. Half of the "friends" are probably hallucinations.

It’s impossible for family members to deal with an adult child, sister, or brother who is in a psychotic or highly manic state, as this woman is. She has no self control and can’t string two coherent thoughts together, and probably can’t sleep for days on end. I also suspect she can be physically violent as well as completely unpredictable. What elderly parents can deal with that?? Prior to Ronald Reagan’s presidency, there were state run mental hospitals in most counties of every state so that people could get treatment whether they could afford it or not, but he closed them all, just as he deregulated industry, allowing owners to operate factories in third world countries and gutting the American blue collar middle class. These two major factors are why our prisons are full to bursting with women like this and there are so many mentally ill and addicted homeless people on our streets.

@voraciousreader3341 Yes, and why do you think he closed them down? Because they weren't helping any of the patients and were full of human rights abuses. In other words, they served no purpose. Besides, most prisoners are not in fact mentally ill and in need of psychiatric help, but are in fact sane people who simply choose to hurt people. @kommisar. Good post again and full of common sense. (Which seems to be rare these days) It seems bad or poor behaviour is blamed on mental illness, childhood trauma, ptsd, etc. Most people will take the path off least resistance given the chance and that includes the good ones. I have a colleague that is paying everything for his grown children even though they make more than him! Student loans, drunk driving fines, etc.

They are not on the path of accountability. The unbiblical cord is still attached!

This woman is going through some major mental break with reality. Could be any number of things. She has history with mental illness, breakdowns, old trauma, and drugs. It's unfair to assume what's going on in her head. But her parents are well into retirement age and appear to be low on the socio-economic scale. I'd bet money they are a very small piece of the problem. This woman needed professional help a lifetime ago.

@AcidBombYT The point of what I was saying is that it probably wasn't her parent's fault. I was eluding to the title of the video. The fault is her own and hers alone, but she should have sought help a very long time ago. So yeah, I don't disagree with you, she most likely has a bad meth problem. Her brain is mush.

There needs to be places to house and care for these mentally ill people who cannot take care of themselves. It’s sad they’re in and out of jail instead.

just graduated nursing school and it’s crazy how often I see people who are suffering from mental illnesses on these channels. A lot of the times there isn’t much you can do when they are on drugs or manic. A lot of officers you can tell have good hearts and are trying their best. In nursing school you really learn a lot about how to empathize and implement therapeutic techniques for such individuals. I am not sure if law enforcement are required to learn such techniques or take mental health classes but i think it could go a really long way. i also think it’s kinda fucked up to say they were bad parents as a result of her behavior when she obviously has underlying issues.

Cops are not therapist. We're already asking them to deal with too much. A therapist isa while different career. You can't ask one individual to have 3 careers to just do one.

My husband had Parkinsons with dementia. He often hallucinated but was not dangerous and then it happened. He thought I had crucified Jesus and he was watching Him die. He became so violent and my 16 year old son had to hold him down. I had to call the police and 2 cops responded that were trained with handling mental heath. They were so patient and we were able to get him to the VA. I will be forever grateful. This person obviously has mental health issues and I understand that these officers did the best they could but I find it sorta sad that her illness is put out on social media. It's almost like we have lost our humanity. There's a difference between drunk or obnoxious and this. I pity her.

I love across from a homeless shelter, which I have no issue with. The people that aren't allowed in that shelter are like her. I find most of them at least here is because of drug use. This is what I get to witness at least twice a week. They will run up screaming in our faces telling us we owe them something because we live on the same street. I do understand that being addicted is a real medical problem, but after a bit you become hardened to it. Though I don't like it, I have had to be really unfeeling and loud to feel safe. I can't allow these people on my property, or to hang out on my porch. When they put tents up next to the fences I will call the police every single time. They start fires up against wooden fences and put us all in danger. I don't like being mean and I do feel for them, but I refuse to be in danger because of the choices they made to get here.

Watching her is really sad. She is mentally unstable and likely will need help for the rest of her life. We need to reopen mental institutions that can house and take care of people who are mentally ill. It’s so dangerous for her to be out on the streets, wandering. My heart really breaks for her as I have a mental illness and wouldn’t survive without my family. Hope she finds peace and stability. May God watch over her with the Angels.

I work in NY and I can run across literally 50-100 people daily who are like her even worse who have mental issues. Cops dont even do anything anymore. I get so exhausted because I cant wrap my mind around them letting these people lose on the streets and illegal immigrants get free shelter. Wtf is going on in this country so many people have mental issues??

She needs a 72 observation in a guarded psychiatric ward. They can then determine whether it's mental illness, a drug induced episode, or if she's just playing crazy. After her issue is determined by professionals, they can go from there.

I don’t think parenting has anything to do with how this woman behaves. She’s probably in her 40s or 50s. Her parents could’ve been the best people in the world and the best parents in the world and you wouldn’t know because of the stupid decisions she’s made to get her to where she is.

This is an example of why this country needs to build Mental Heath Facilities, places that are operated by professional medical staff who are overseen by committees to ensure that the patients dignity is protected & human compassion is shown. It’s a tall order but I believe it could be accomplished if as a society we really cared.

My friends daughter was basically born schizophrenic, she was presenting symptoms as a preschooler.
