Analysis/Criticism section is inappropriate
I don't think it specifically violates the principle against criticism sections, but this kind of academic obscurantism is inappropriate for Wikipedia. If you want to cite an academic thesis on classic rock, there may be a place for that, but it doesn't need to take up so much space and crowd out more relevant information. This article should explain what classic rock is as a music genre and how it is typically understood. 2603:7081:1603:A300:6D07:A065:FFEF:FEF9 (talk) 13:13, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
Lol now I now you dont know what the hell you're talking about when you misuse words like obscurantism ... ๐ฎ๐พ๐ ๐ฏ๐๐ป๐๐๐ (talk | contribs) 13:40, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
Using "criticism" as a section title is generally frowned upon, so I'd recommend a section title change, but otherwise there's nothing wrong with the content present as long as it is correctly sourced and attributed to reliable sources. I'd recommend adding additional content, either elsewhere in the article, or in the given section for a potential counter-narrative, instead. Sergecross73 msg me 19:36, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

Romantics can be said to be broadly progressive in their views, but a considerable number always had, or developed, a wide range of conservative views, and nationalism was in many countries strongly associated with Romanticism, as discussed in detail below.
