even if libs right, the fact they do things (or do things the way they do) which leaves itself opened to be twisted by cons and right wingers is almost as bad as what they are accused of

libs wrongly smears right wingers and cons of being on wrong side of history (federalist 2015), which puts latter on defensive for obvious reasons
