I did not grow up rich by any means. I used Noxzema, Neutrogena and saved my allowance for Loreal lipstick from the Walgreens (lol!). However, once in a while my mom would buy me Clinique or Lancome skin care and make up. It was a fun treat and didn't make me a spoiled brat! I have a niece and I bought her a full set of Glossier for Christmas. I don't see the big deal!

Kids don’t need any of that unless it’s a special treat or gift. That’s the type of spending that financially ruins people unless they are rich. Fancy coffees, fancy makeup, fancy cars and fancy phones are in the same bucket.
